“I went to a lot of book signings with my mom and…eventually, I got tired of not having anything to sell. So I wanted to make a book,” Solomon explains.
The subject of his book stemmed from a childhood dream and a gap he noticed in children’s literature: the lack of books about DJs.
“When he was in Kindergarten, he said he wanted to be a DJ,” Nicole shares. “I thought it was cool when he told me he wanted to write a book about DJs because there weren’t any DJ books.”
Thus, “The Legend of DJ Awesome” was born, a testament to Solomon’s passion for music, storytelling, and his belief in the power of “awesomeness.”
